What Is EPOS Technology?

Husqvarna offers two types of robotic mowing systems — traditional wire-based and wireless EPOS models. While wire-based mowers use physical boundary wires to define mowing areas, EPOS (Exact Positioning Operating System) models rely on high-precision satellite guidance to create virtual boundaries. This eliminates the need for any physical installation and gives you full flexibility to adjust mowing zones digitally through the TurfCloud platform.

Why You Need a Reference Station?

To achieve centimeter-level accuracy, each EPOS mower connects to a Husqvarna Reference Station. This station transmits real-time GNSS correction signals, ensuring stable and consistent positioning across your property. One reference station can support multiple mowers operating within a 500-meter radius in open-sky conditions — making it ideal for golf courses, resorts, or sports complexes.
